What we do
Humanist Society is a completely non-political, non-profit, voluntary social welfare organization registered by the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
The activities of the Humanist Society to improve the quality of human life are as follows:
- Conducting human welfare activities engaged in the service of art-humanity. Undertaking any project/initiative in public interest.
- To create awareness against deforestation and take up programs for environment conservation, river encroachment and pollution. Taking initiatives and organizing special publications in the development of art-culture and tourism. To cooperate with the government by undertaking various activities including providing humanitarian services and rehabilitation and medical treatment to those affected by natural calamities. Planting trees on the importance of climate change in protecting the balance of the earth in global context.
- Conducting research, meetings, training and workshops, development seminars and symposiums on issues of public importance.
- Undertaking programs for the development of human rights including setting up legal aid centers to provide legal aid to helpless people deprived of legal rights. Creating documentaries, plays, meetings and human rights activists to create public awareness.
- Election observation, organizing seminar-symposium on development of democracy and humanity.
- Conducting activities jointly with other organizations to facilitate any type of activities. Establishing relationship with all government and non-governmental organizations for developmental activities.
- Implementation of mobile apps, IT training center and all related activities in the development of modern technology excellence. Collaborating with reputed domestic and foreign universities including inviting various required trainings.
